Tantalum (Ta) is a dark blue-gray metal that is very heavy, ductile and hard and has high corrosion resistance. Tantalum is especially resistant to chemicals at temperatures below 150 °C and can only be dissolved with hydrofluoric acid. It has the fourth highest melting point of all metals and is able to form extremely thin and protective oxide layers for high-quality capacitors, making it an excellent material for foil.
Product Name | Thickness (mm) | Width (mm) | Length (mm) | Material | Standard | Purity |
Tantalum Foil | 0.03-0.07 | 30-200 | >50 | UNS R05200, UNS R05400 | ASTM B708-98 | ≥99.95% or 99.99% |
Tantalum Strip | 0.03 | 1-1.5 | Up to 50000 | UNS R05200, UNS R05400 | ASTM B708-98 | ≥99.95% or 99.99% |
Tantalum foil can be used as a vacuum blast furnace for heating components, heat insulation parts, and loading vessels. In the chemical industry, it can be used as a boiler, heater, cooler, various utensils, etc. And it is widely used in aerospace and medical devices. Tantalum foil is also used in foil capacitors.
Our tantalum foil is carefully handled to prevent damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our product in its original condition.
