Aluminum silicon master alloy is a forged and cast alloy based on aluminum and silicon. AI-Si alloy is widely used in the automotive industry and machine manufacturing industry to produce parts for sliding friction conditions due to its light weight, good thermal conductivity and mechanical strength, hardness and corrosion resistance. When the silicon content is low (such as 0.7%), the aluminum-silicon alloy has good ductility and is commonly used as a deformed alloy. When the silicon content is high (such as 7%), the aluminum-silicon alloy melt has good filling properties.

The aluminum-silicon master alloy is used for the addition of silicon in aluminum alloy smelting, with low addition temperature and precise composition control.
All packaging materials are suitable for air, sea and road freight. Vacuum packing is also available for selected alloys. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation.
